Paying for college is one of the biggest hurdles students and their families face. For that reason, MACC students paying their educational expenses are encouraged to seek external funding sources.
Search Engines for Scholarships
There are many sites that you can visit to search for scholarships. Below are a few to get you started.

UIW Collaborative Program Scholarships and Aid
If you are a student in the collaborative program, you should not apply for institutional aid at MACC. Apply for aid as designated by UIW’s Financial Aid Office.
Haciendo Caminos Fellowship
Through the Haciendo Caminos project, MACC seeks to expand opportunities for students to enroll and flourish in our Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry programs of theological and ministerial formation, as well as related local and national initiatives such as vocation summits, summer academic engagements, and partnerships with dioceses, parishes, and ministerial organizations.
The Haciendo Caminos fellowship offers up to $30,000 for the entire duration of the master’s program to alleviate some of the financial burden in the lives of students. The fellowship can be used by the student in whatever way she or he sees fit. The fellowship is in addition to the 50% tuition discount MACC and University of Incarnate Word already offer to all masters’ students.
Students may apply these funds in a variety of ways, including to assist with housing and living expenses, education costs, and field education/professional development costs. At MACC, students can do the program online by attending synchronous courses, either in English or Spanish. For more information, please contact Dr. Laura Manzo at [email protected].
