In partnership with the Mexican American Catholic College – the Haciendo Caminos Vocations Summit for lay ecclesial ministry will be held on July 31-August 3, 2024 at the campus of Dominican University. The deadline for nominations and applications is April 30, 2024. Full cost of the event, including transportation, housing, and food, will be covered by Haciendo Caminos.
The summit will be a space for dialogue among U.S. born or U.S. reared young Latino/Latina Catholics who are discerning a call to ministry and leadership in Catholic settings, specifically by way of graduate theological education. Through prayer, conversation, and convivencia, the Vocations Summit will allow current and future young Catholic Hispanic leaders the opportunity to hear from renowned leaders in theology and ministry about the past, present, and future of Hispanic ministry, meet peers from around the country, and connect personally with representatives from all 18 Haciendo Caminos partner institutions.
