A Forum of the First-Ever Study of International Sisters in the United States
Hosted by the Mexican American Catholic College (MACC), this presentation focused on findings from the first-ever study of international sisters in the United States. The Trinity Washington University/Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate (CARA) study found over 4,000 sisters from 83 countries on 6 continents serving here in the U.S. We will discuss pathways that brought the sisters here, contributions they make, and challenges they face, The co-authors will concluded with recommendations based on the analysis of their survey and interview data.
