In Case You Missed It! – Cultura Católica 2026

Thank you to everyone who joined us in February 2026 for our Cultura Católica Day presentation with Fr. Anthony Ruff, O.S.B. We are deeply grateful to all who participated—both in person and online—and helped make this gathering such a meaningful experience.
During our livestream, Fr. Anthony guided us through “Receiving Communion: It’s More Than You Might Think!”, a rich and prayerful reflection that invited us to see how the Eucharist shapes our identity as disciples—not only within the celebration of Mass, but in how we are called to love, serve, and seek justice in our daily lives.
We extend a heartfelt thank‑you to Fr. Anthony Ruff for his wisdom, generosity, and the personal insights he so graciously shared with our community.
Our sincere gratitude as well to the Archdiocese of San Antonio and Veronica Markland with Today’s Catholic Newspaper for their support with photography and livestreaming, and to the staff, faculty, students, and community members of Mexican American Catholic College, Assumption Seminary, and Saint John’s School of Theology and Seminary for helping make this event possible.
If you weren’t able to join us—or if you’d like to reflect on the presentation again—we invite you to re-watch our livestream at the link below:
Thank you once again to all who participated and celebrated Cultura Católica Day with us! We hope this reflection continues to inspire you in faith and discipleship.

MACC’s Hidden Treasures

Amazing Space, Amazing Grace – A new home for MACC
The following quotation comes from an archival MACC publication, preserved as part of MACC’s Hidden Treasures, and reflects the enduring vision of one of the College’s formative leaders.
“MACC has served over 24,000 students during the past quarter-century, and the need remains great. Our new facility will serve the Church well in the New Millennium.”
