A leadership training program in Christian leadership for young adults, ages 18 to 35, called to be leaders in the Hispanic church ministry in the United States.
Shaping The Future
- Promotes the formative and apostolic vision of the V Encounter and of the National Plan for Hispanic Ministry, shaping young leaders with cultural identity.
- Promotes missionary, prophetic, and synodal discipleship to be a leaven in the family and society.
- Incorporates the pastoral methodology: see, judge, act, celebrate, and evaluate.
- Offers the support of diocesan coordinators, who guide the training either in person or online. With opportunities for faith experiences such as retreats and group work.
- The course is available in English and Spanish, online or in person.
Program is available for dioceses that request it. The program lasts 48 weeks, conducted in courses of 6 weeks each. At the end of each course, a certificate of completion with the course title is offered. Shaping The Future offers other complementary educational opportunities such as retreats, spiritual direction, and reflection meetings.
