SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION PROCESS FOR MACC LANGUAGE AND PASTORAL
COURSES
- Applications for
scholarships may be requested from the Registrar at the same
time as the admissions packet.
- Priority will be
given to applicants ministering in the United States with possible
exceptions based on individual requests.
A
completed application includes:
- Registration form
and fee
- Two letters of recommendation
- If you are a member
of a religious community, one of the letters must be from the
superior of your congregation.
- If you are a priest
or seminarian or work for a diocese, one of the letters must
be from the bishop, chancellor,
or supervisor.
- If you work for
a parish, one of the letters must be from the pastor.
- If you work for
an organization, the organization must be a 501(c) (3) whose
mission is similar to MACC’s.
Part of MACC's mission being “…for
the preparation of leaders to respond to the religious and social
needs of Hispanic communities. ” (from MACC's Mission
Statement)
One of the letters must be from organization’s executive
director.
- Autobiography,
2-3 typed pages (Pastoral programs only)
- Questionnaire and
placement test (Language programs only)
INCOMPLETE
APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Applicants
will be notified in writing of the results of their application.
Every attempt will be made to notify the applicant, by November
1st for the Spring,
April 1st for the Summer and July 1st for the Fall.
PLEASE
NOTE: No full scholarships will be given.
All scholarships will be partial, based on applicant’s need.
Applicants are encouraged to solicit financial help from other
sources.
