Academics

The Mexican American Catholic College is an institution of higher learning offering a Bachelor of Art degree in Pastoral Ministry (beginning Fall 2009) and a Master of Arts degree in Pastoral Ministry (beginning Fall 2010).

MACC also provides non-credit programs for continuing adult education for ministry, especially in Hispanic and other multicultural settings. These programs include Intensive Pastoral Spanish, Intensive Pastoral English, Hispanic Pastoral Ministry in the 21st Century (previously known as Mini Pastoral) and Hispanic Pastoral Ministry Program. The MACC ministry formation program is accredited by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops Commission on Certification.

MACC aspires to be an institution of excellence serving the needs of the Church in the United States through a special focus on the concerns of a rapidly growing Hispanic Catholic US population. Without sacrificing excellence, our programs and faculty also take into account the special circumstances of many non-traditional students who may be coming to higher education later in life and those who have often been left out of higher education due to finances or opportunity.
